One World[]
Bladez was one of the best players in this season, due to his premerged game as well as his merged game. At the start, Bladez found himself in a very good position on all ends, with both the females and males tribe liking him. Players such as Luca and Seth saw him as shady, but hesitated to take any shots as no shots were presented to them due to the tribe's physically dominant performances. During a tribe swap, Bladez found himself in a good position with Luca and Thomas both being on his tribe, as well as the amazing performances in the challenges his tribe had. This kept him safe from attending any tribal councils the entire premerged stage of the game. Bladez never had any real chances to take any one out during this part of the game, but his eyes were on Luca had the tribe lost due to a shaky relationship the two had prior to the swap. At the merge, all bets were off when Bladez quickly pushed himself into the alliance of James, Lala, and Ethan, which helped him stay in a solid voting bloc that kept him protected. Bladez was also valued on the other side of the merge, as the females saw him as a number they thought they could pull in. After exposing himself for being with James, Lala, and Ethan, players such as Thomas and Slaylah began to get pissed off that Bladez was doing so well, and voted him during the tribal where they drew rocks, to send a message to him as well as to keep him safe in case the vote did go to a deadlock. After this, Bladez once again socially maneuvered his way back into a decent position on his tribe, and was finally able to conquer the demon to his game that was Slaylah. After a surprise double tribal took the merged members by a storm, Bladez went to work and tried to pull of what would've been one of the biggest blindsides of the game, by taking down Ethan. This plan was set to work perfectly, as he got his alliance to split the votes, and had both Thomas and Cher asking him to vote with them. But, due to a miscommunication with Thomas as well as Thomas's relationship with Ethan, the plan was foiled and it left Bladez in a position that should've had him sent home next. After this mess, Bladez went to work and placed himself back into the four that he had before, showing how socially dominant he was. At the final four, many jurors saw Bladez as the most viable option to give the win to, as he not only was very kind to the jury and gave them chances to save their game, but he also did amazing strategically. When he wasn't able to win the final immunity, Bladez was taken out as many knew he was well respected by the juror. Some could say Bladez's downfall was not trying to go against his alliance earlier, but this wouldn't have benefited him due to how close the other side really was.

Isle of the Lost[]
Colby was one of the most dominant winners that RSL has had to date. Coming in with a lower reputation compared to the other veterans, Colby wanted to prove why he got fourth place last time and almost won his original season. On Tuva, Colby very quickly placed himself into a majority alliance, even when his fellow veteran Alex was away on the Isle. Within the KCA alliance, Colby had a lot of pull in that alliance in which course of direction they should vote each tribal. Not only was he in a majority alliance, but he successfully branched out to outsiders on the tribe like Aliyah, Nick and Cassie. Colby bonded with Kit, as well as Nolan the most. He knew that they would be loyal to him at least for the time being. During the first tribal, he went on board with his alliance to vote out Alex T.
When Alex came back from the Isle, he caught her up to speed and included her in the KCA alliance. This became the beginning of their joint allyship in the game, something that many could only wish to have in the game. Although Colby did have a connection with Nick, he knew it would be best for his game to go with his alliance to vote Nick out. He wanted to keep trust with them, and demonstrated that he knew when to be selfish for his own game and when to take the loss.
Colby’s gameplay became even stronger when he was able to survive and take control of the new Lenu tribe at the swap. Colby, being the only veteran on that tribe, was able to grow closer with the connection he started forming with Aliyah. He also had lots of growing relationships, such as his connections to Rob and Nolan. Alongside Drew as well. Him and Jonas were very close too. Colby never was ever in any danger, which one would think he would be considering he was an outsider to the newer players. One very smart move and observation Colby made was a connection that Liam (who was on the new Lenu tribe with Colby) had with Kit on the new Tuva tribe. When Lenu lost their only challenge of the swap, Colby right away bounced on the idea of getting Liam out. Colby knew that if Kit had both the trio and Liam to rely on at the merge, that she’d be far too powerful. He knew they were close as he was able to pick up on Kit defending Liam during the first few tribal councils they attended before the swap. He took this opportunity to cut Liam out, an alliance that no one else really was even aware of. Colby’s game plan heading into the merge was to take out everyone who had a duo or trio, as he was one of the few players that did not have a solid number one ally to rely on aside from Alex.
During the first merged episode, Colby got Alex to send him to the Isle when she won immunity as he knew there was potential for there to be an idol. Sure enough, Colby’s assumption was correct as he was able to claim the merged tribe idol from the Isle. Colby helped spread chaos about Drew, as he wanted to take Drew out to separate him from Calvin. This worked successfully, with the help of Jonas and Alex who both knew Drew would be gunning after them. Colby’s game plan to split up the duos continued to go into effect, when he blindsided Cassie and kept Kit safe. This gained him some traction with the trio, and opened up Jonas to work with him even more. Colby utilized his connection with Aliyah in order to find out if the trio would be open to gunning for him. Sure enough, Kit was on board with going for Colby. This caused Colby to become more open with gunning for the trio, even though he was after them already during this episode. Colby successfully blindsided JJ alongside his alliance, and used his idol to put fear into Bre at this tribal incase she tried to flip.
In the next episode, Colby was sent to the Isle by his ally Jonas. Jonas did this to save Colby from any flip, as well as to declare his allegiance. With Ashley and JJ both gone, Colby realized that a flip may begin to happen as 2/3 of the trio were out of the game. Because of this, Colby went on to winning immunity and sent his number one ally Alex to the Isle in order to preserve both of their immunity idols. This call was correct, when Jonas was taken out of the game in a 4-2-1 flip. Colby knew how dangerous Kit was, and kept trying his best to get her out of the game. He went onto winning another individual immunity, tying the winner of season 4, Jay, for most individual immunity wins in a season with 4. Due to Calvin’s resistance to flip on Kit, Colby was left out of the plan to send Nolan out. Nolan was someone close to Colby, so Colby did not flip on him even when it meant leaving him in the minority. At the final six, Colby knew him and Alex needed to make a move with their individual immunity idols. He threw the final six immunity, and harassed Kit for the fun of it in the challenge to antagonize her. Although some of this seemed like he was just being an ass, Colby was strategic in being “cocky” because he knew it may increase the chances of people wanting to sit next to him in the end. He also wanted to ensure he got voted for as he wanted to use his idol correctly.
Colby and Alex debated on who they should send home between Calvin and Bre, as Kit won individual immunity. Colby successfully got his way in voting out Bre, as he knew she would be a shoe-in for final tribal council meaning there would be one less spot for him. Ultimately he also had less of a connection to Bre. With no idol at final five, individual immunity was do-or-die for Colby. He knew if Kit won, he was in a lot of danger. Luckily for Colby, his close ally Alex went onto winning immunity. Although the vote in final five was a close 3-2, Colby’s connection to Aliyah ultimately allowed for him to survive over his biggest enemy in the game, Kit. Colby was shocked to see Calvin win the final four immunity and was sent to face off against his tightest ally of the season Alex. Colby’s ability to perform under pressure and his fantastic challenge strength allowed for him to beat Alex and earned his spot in the end. Although some jurors thought Colby was overtly cocky and rude, his incredible gameplay and complete control over almost the entire game allowed for him to win against Calvin and Aliyah in a 6-4-0 vote.
Colby is one of the best winners to come from RSL, dominating the game both strategically, socially, and physically. His undying loyalty to certain players and his way to take control of a situation and perform under pressure demonstrated and showed why he deserved to win this season. He never shied away from making a move that he wanted to, and was willing to cut anyone out if it was the smart move for him. Him, alongside Kit and Alex, were the figureheads of this season (who all came from the original Tuva tribe).
